SA politicians are hypocrites who thrive on touting Madiba’s name

Sowetan - - Opinion -

I cannot fathom what our political leaders across all parties think. Every year they hold ceremonies in honour of this great son of the soil, Nelson Mandela.

During these ceremonies they make long speeches, telling us about Madiba’s virtues. But afterwards, all they do is the opposite of what Madiba stood for. They are all racists – both black and white – and do not care about the country’s citizens.

All they care about is their pockets and political careers. They must stop mentioning Madiba’s name in vain.
