The Limpopo government has rallied behind Baroka as the club looks to end the drought and bring a trophy to the province for the first time.

Bakgaga have a mountain to climb as they take on giants Orlando Pirates in the Telkom Knockout final at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium tomorrow at 6pm.

They are the first team from the province to make it to a final since Black Leopards lost the Nedbank Cup to Pirates in 2011.

Club owner Khurishi Mphahlele has already promised to bring the N1 freeway to a halt should his team emerge victorious.

The provincial government has also thrown their weight behind Baroka with the department of sport, art & culture providing 10 buses to transport fans.

MEC for the department Thandi Moraka expressed excitement ahead of the final where hopes will be high that their duck is broken.
