Nation mourns and celebrates Chippa’s life

Today we join the nation in mourning the death of Phil Masinga who died yesterday. We are reeling from the loss of a man who dedicated his entire life to football and served Bafana with dynamism. His goal against Congo, that took us to our maiden Fifa World Cup in France in 1998, will remain indelible in our lives. Masinga continued to serve the beautiful game after retirement. Chippa, you lived for the game and we appreciated your presence.
