Dladla stars in Netflix series

Isibaya actor Pallance Dladla and Skeem Saam actress Amanda Du Pont have teamed up for Netflix’s latest TV addition.

The duo spearhead new action drama Shadow set to premiere on March 8. Dladla plays the titular of Shadrach “Shadow” Khumalo; a detective and former task force specialist who quits his job to become a fixer. He has a rare condition that affects his central nervous system – he is impervious to physical pain.

Du Pont plays his love interest Ashley. According to director Gareth Crocker what sets Shadow apart is that it uses a film-style approach to a TV format.
