Shalulile is not fazed by hefty price tag put on his head

Almost every club has their star player that they rest their hopes of achieving success. But when a time comes for that player to move on to greater heights, he often gets a hefty price tag placed on him to fend off interest from other clubs.
This is the case with Highlands Park striker Peter Shalulile, on whom club boss Larry Brookstone has put a R30m price tag.
Following his impressive season at Highlands, Shalulile is believed to have attracted interest from Mamelodi Sundowns but it seems they are not willing to pay that much for him.
Asked how that is affecting
Larry Brookstone him, the 27-year-old said he will take that as a positive as the club values him higher. “I don’t want to involve myself in politics but any player will feel good if he hears something like that (that he is worth R30m),” he told Sowetan.
“This means I must continue to work hard and hope for the best in the future.”
The Namibian international became an increasingly important member of the Lions of the North this season. He has scored 12 goals and registered two assists in 24 appearances this campaign.
He remains upbeat that he will produce the same performance when the PSL resumes. “I’m positive, I’m working hard now to keep the same rhythm I had before the lockdown and I believe that everything will get back to where I was when we come back,” Shalulile continued.
“Now I am targeting 20 goals and I believe that I can achieve that looking at the remaining games. It is just a matter of believing in myself and this is what I am doing now.
“I have noticed that anything you want is possible to achieve. It has been a great season and I am happy.”
