Before burning out midway through the season, SuperSport enjoyed an impressive start. Some even tipped them to challenge Sundowns for the league title, but the going got tough for them. Injuries to key players such as Bradley Grobler, Thamsanqa Gabuza and Ronwen Williams were their downfall as it proved that they didn’t have enough depth.
