Lebyane joins the new show after leaving Sangoma Khanyisa that was flighted on Honey Channel .

“Being part of The Big Secret

has been nothing short of phenomenal,” she said.

“I’m passionate about authentic and intentional engagements across our communities, and the conversations we have will really build relationships, community and ultimately our beautiful continent. To have BET and this amazing production crew behind me on the show has been humbling and incredibly rewarding.

“I am known for my interest in local issues that affect communities and are true. So, the discussions we will have in the programme will build relationships, strengthen the communities we live in, so that we can have a living, united and understanding nation. Being a part of this channel and the company that records the programme has been a big experience for me that

I will never forget, and

I feel very humbled.”

Senior vice president and GM, Paramount Africa and Peer Lead, BET International, Monde Twala said they were thrilled to have the renowned Lebyane as a host of the show.

“This season promises to be more gripping than ever before. We know that part of what makes The Big Secret so popular is the depth of stories, deep personal journeys and drama that resonates with local audiences.

“Penny and The Big Secret team have also worked arduously to provide a safe space for all participants to heal. The addition of social and mental health professionals reinforces this. We hope our participants will find the closure they are looking for and that our viewers will be able to learn and heal from the stories shared in this season.”
