Stop the looting, say pastors

The Pastors Fellowship community issued this media statement regarding the looting taking place in South Africa.

“We, as the Pastors Fellowship of this Southern Cape region, condemn the destruction of properties and looting in our country.

“We appeal to all our members and communities to stand together and defend the little that remains after the mass destruction of Covid-19, which left many families poverty-stricken and without employment, which we cannot cope with anymore.

“We must, therefore, all stand together with one voice to defend our nation and our towns so that we do not reverse the gains we have achieved in the past 27 years of democracy.

“We all call on all saints to pray for our nation and specifically Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal provinces.”
