CHEESE, WINE & JAZZ

Delheim’s Jazz and Cheese Fondue sessions take place every Sunday throughout July. In the tasting room, guests will be treated to the Swiss tradition, complete with a glass of glühwein and crusty bread, while, every week, a local jazz band plays. The cost is R150 per person.

CANOE MARATHON

The Berg River Canoe Marathon is one of the most challenging water races in the Western Cape. Competitors will paddle off on July 10 in Paarl at the Market Street Bridge. The race ends on July 13 in Velddrif, coinciding with the town’s festival (see below). Registration is today at the Milnerton Canoe Club and on Tuesday at the Paarl Canoe Club.
