MUSIC

When internationally renowned klezmer clarinettist David Krakauer performs at the Jewish Music Festival in Krakow, Poland, it is in front of an enthusiastic audience of 35 000 fans. Now this “breathtakingly flamboyant” musician is coming to Cape Town. This will be a rare opportunity to hear Krakauer backed by our very own Matthew Reid and the Playing with Fire Klezmer Band. The show is at 7pm on July 21 at the Baxter Theatre. Tickets are R140 to R300, available from Computicket and the Baxter Theatre.
