BACKGROUND
PRODUCER Kumar Guarani, one of the most respected men in Indian cinema — having been at the helm of Tips Industries, a leading corporate house and music distributor — signed Prabhudeva to launch his son Girish in the remake of the Telugu hit Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana, which was inspired by Maine Pyar Kiya .
STORY
A STRONG bond exists between an orphaned boy, Raghu (Sonu Sood), and his baby sister Sona (Shruti Hassan), whom he grooms into a simple and beautiful young lady. She meets the flirtatious and spoilt brat Ram (Girish Kumar), who has arrived in Australia for a family wedding, and they gradually fall in love.
However, the romance between the village beauty and the billionaire is doomed when his mother begins to interfere and the two are separated. Not giving up on his dream girl, Ram accepts a challenge with the fearless Raghu to win over Sona.
