THE TOP TEN SUPERMODELS
Gisele Bündchen ($42-million) Bündchen’s astonishing earnings make it hard for any of her fellow models to catch up. The mother of two is married to US football player Tom Brady.
Miranda Kerr ($7.2-million) Kerr, 30, is not only one of the world’s most popular models, but also a budding entrepreneur. Her line of organic skincare, Kora, is now stocked on Net-A-Porter. She is also making waves in Asia, where various contracts with products such as ice tea and washing powder earn her big bucks. She has become something of a celebrity thanks to her high-profile marriage to British actor Orlando Bloom.
Adriana Lima ($6-million) Brazilian Lima, a mother of two, owes the majority of this year’s earnings to her contract with Victoria’s Secret. As their longest-serving Angel, she has the most lucrative modelling contract in the company.
Kate Moss ($5.6-million) Moss, 39, the oldest model on the list, is still pulling in big deals. A recent collaboration with Carphone Warehouse on a line of phone accessories is expected to be lucrative.
Liu Wen ($4.3-million) China’s first supermodel, Liu Wen, was also the first Chinese model to appear in a Victoria’s Secret show. She has a long list of campaigns under her belt, including H&M, Estée Lauder, Calvin Klein and Hugo Boss.
Hilary Rhoda ($4-million) Rhoda has deals with Nike, Hugo Boss and Estée Lauder and is a catwalk fixture for brands such as Victoria’s Secret.

Candice Swanepoel ($3.3-million) South African Swanepoel owes most of her wealth to her contract as an Angel for Victoria’s Secret, although campaigns and catwalk appearances for Versace, Max Factor and Juicy Couture also help.
Lara Stone ($3.2-million) The Dutch model has a lucrative exclusive deal with Calvin Klein, although her earnings fell from $3.8-million last year owing to the birth of her son in May this year.— © The Daily Telegraph, London
