JASON Kerr has been appointed KFC South Africa’s new chief operations officer. Kerr has been operations director for two years and with KFC for 22. His role as operations director will be taken over by Fourie Bornman, who was previously regional coach for KFC parent company Yum Equity.

MAGIX Security has appointed Andrei Migatchev chief technology officer. Migatchev holds a BSc in computer science. From 2010 he worked for Magic Software SA. For six years before this he was an independen­t consultant, mostly in the areas of solution and enterprise architectu­re, working with Clover, FNB and the South African Post Office, among others.

ADCOCK Ingram has appointed former Presidency chief director Doreen Kosi as its new government relations executive.

In her 17 years in the public service, Kosi worked under four deputy presidents, including President Jacob Zuma.

Kosi said she left the public sector to help to articulate and demystify government policies.

PROFESSION­AL property services provider Broll has appointed Jonathan Yach MD of Broll Kenya.

Yach has 25 years’ property experience in South Africa and India. He has held senior positions at Zenprop Property Holdings, Colliers Internatio­nal, JHI Management Group and Broll in South Africa, as well as Propcare Mall Management in India.

INVESTMENT group African Access Holdings has appointed Tshumu Gap Maloka managing director. He takes over from Shaun Battlemann.

Maloka began his career at First National Bank as a corporate credit analyst, progressin­g to head of sales at Coca-Cola South Africa. He was also divisional head at 3M and sales and marketing director and MD at Rennicks.
