What is more important to you, fame or fortune?

With fame you get fortune, so hopefully I will get a lucky dose of both. Being a well-known and respected artist is at the top of my list — it’s important to stay passionate and realistic. Are you “hungry” for money ?

Nothing out of the usual. My interest is in achieving my goals and aspiration­s, and if I do that right, hopefully, the money will follow. Are you a saver or a spender?

I like to think of myself as a bit of both, but I know I can be easily tempted by beautiful things.

I am saving for my future, but I don’t want to put all my money away — I do want to indulge and enjoy the money I have worked for. I know where the line is. What is your biggest extravagan­ce?

What is concerning to me is all the manipulati­on on the streets — some days I feel guilty that I don’t have anything to give away. What did your childhood teach you about money?

When I was growing up, my mother and father both taught me that money indeed does not grow on trees.

I lived with my mom in Johannesbu­rg and my dad lived in Plettenber­g Bay, so I got to embrace life the materialis­tic way and the organic way. What is the best money advice you have ever received?
