Anniversary in the air

We wish to offer our utmost appreciation and thanks to the hard-working staff of Emirates Airline for the respect shown to us, during our flight to Dubai on November 9, celebrating our 54th wedding anniversary.

On boarding the flight, we casually mentioned to the senior attendant, Mohammed, that we were on a celebration holiday. Imagine our pleasant surprise on being woken at 2am, with gifts and champagne.

And that was not all. We also received a congratulations card, signed by the entire staff on board, including the pilot. The in-flight service was also excellent, as was the cuisine.

As pensioners, we saved a long time for this holiday and it was worth every cent.

In fact, we are once again saving for another trip this November, on the fabulous Emirates to Dubai. — Louis and
