Cricket criticism is racist

I AM not in favour of the minister of sport’s latest suggestion that 60% of players in national teams should be black, but I feel that the latest criticism of Russell Domingo by the old guard, in “Why cricket’s old guard don’t like Domingo” (April 13), is nothing short of racism, because he is not white.

Other (white) cricket coaches have failed before, but the old guard was silent. — Concerned Citizen, by SMS
