Box-office Buzz ‘Baby Doll’ vehicle has right dosage of sex appeal

-

FORMER Canadian adultmovie star Sunny Leone created quite a stir when she announced her Bollywood intentions a few years ago.

Filmmaker Pooja Bhatt was the first to seize the opportunity and cast the actress in the role of a seductress in Jism 2.

Although the movie and her acting received mixed reviews, Leone’s sex appeal was its highlight and the actress was openly welcomed to the film industry.

Obviously impressed by her seductive act, Ekta Kapoor, who has delivered numerous success stories and is known for her creativity and willingness to take a gamble, signed her as the lead star for the movie Ragini MMS 2.

Like the original that was released in 2011, this sequel is a sensual supernatural horror flick about a filmmaker making a movie about a sex scandal.

When he signs Leone as his lead actress, she decides to do research about the original Ragini and her tryst with evil forces.

In the process, she unleashes more danger and darkness as the shooting progresses in the same farm house as the original scandal.

Leone is the star attraction in this movie because she plays herself. She shows tremendous improvement in the acting department and she looks alluring and works her magic, especially with her sex appeal and skimpy outfits.

The remaining cast of Divya Dutta and Parvin Dabbas are strictly average.

Overall, the movie does well in creating enough spine-chilling and terrifying moments with the right dosage of drama and sex appeal.

One of the highlights is the blockbuster hit song Baby Doll, which has become a craze over the world.

The movie may be forgotten in years to come, but the Baby Doll track and lead star Leone are sure to linger on.
