Not all improvers ADA

-

THANK you for highlighting the use of ADA. It seems we now have to be on the lookout for products that contain this substance along with the excess use of sodium, sugar and palm oil.

I have discussed it with my family, but on checking today it seems the use of ADA is widespread.

I bought Blue Ribbon bread today, named in your article as being ADA-free, but I note it has “flour improvers” in its ingredient list. Is this in fact ADA? — Annette Chase, by

Power Report: Suppliers are allowed to use various flour improvers in their products, including ADA, and are not bound by law to specify this in the ingredient list.

However, I can confirm again that Premier Foods, which makes Blue Ribbon bread, does not use ADA.
