THE RULES:

The competition is open to South African residents over the age of 18. Employees of Times Media Ltd, Sandton City or Woolworths and their immediate families may not enter, nor previous winners of the competition. The judges’ decisions are final. Finalists and winners must be prepared to be photographed and interviewed for marketing purposes. This competition is open to amateur bakers only. Professional chefs and bakers may not enter. Finalists will be flown to Johannesburg (where necessary) and accommodated in Sandton for the final bake-off.
