The fact is, success and prosperity are so high on your priority list you’ve almost forgotten there’s anything else. Your spiritual side is calling and, in your typically Virgoan way, you’re searching for that all-ornothing, perfection-or-failure route. As a wise man once said, it’s easy to be enlightened on a mountain. Finding your soul in Sandton Square is another matter. Stop putting so much pressure on yourself. Success — the kind you had in mind — is coming slowly. Find a meditation teacher, take a yoga class or go on a spiritual retreat. There are many layers to life. No one said you had to live them all at once. Take some time for yourself. GEMINI (May 21 – June 20) You’ve got a week to sort out admin before the communication planet takes a three-week break. Since it’s your personal planet that’s taking time off, you’ll need every moment to get your life in order. Or not. If chaos is your thing, keep your seat. The fact is, you’re at your most independent, creative and assertive. You can get whatever you want now. In short, use this week any way that suits you best. But use it. CANCER (June 21 – Jul 22) Right now, the slowest route is the fastest way there. You need to pay attention to detail and careful decisions. Not a bad thing. Complicated and fascinating new projects are pounding at your door, and you’ll need all your faculties to rise to the occasion. If you’re wondering how your love life will gel with the career, worry no further. Love and romance couldn’t be more delicious. And if it’s not, stop being a brat. LEO (Jul 23 – Aug 22) The finances appear to have slowed down. Good. While the planets are pulling you towards your inner self, your outer world is taking its time. If you have important decisions or purchases on the cards, make them now. From next week, the budget will take on a life of its own and you could lose track of expenses. The career is fine. Love could use some help. Try for some romance. Be creative. VIRGO (Aug 23 – Sep 22) What kind of promotion did you have in mind? Were you hoping for a small word in your ear as you sailed past the boss in the corridor? Or was it the thunderous applause with popping flashlights feel you had in mind? Better make your desires known. The universe gets confused when it has to choose for you. Either way though, the goodies are here. The range is up to you. Next week, the details won’t be so obvious. LIBRA (Sep 23 – Oct 22) Tell the truth now. Do you have the vaguest clue how to differentiate between love and infatuation? It’s time to learn. Unless, of course, you’d rather end up in the middle of another one of those endless soap operas you love so much. Fortunately, the money flow has been halted for a while so choccies are the limit for your love gifts. But calm down, nothing’s on fire — except your heart. Try not to trample on theirs. SCORPIO (Oct 23 – Nov 21) A new love interest is clouding your vision. Watch yourself, especially if the old love is still standing in the wings. This is where integrity and honesty are the things that will save you from loneliness. The good news is that if you are available, you will finally have met your match. We’re talking a lifetime of entertainment here. And love, of course. Allow yourself to be swept away by your feelings. Be vulnerable. SAGITTARIUS (Nov 22 – Dec 21) Those brilliant ideas of yours are in demand. As is your ability to get the message across to the unconvinced. So get yourself suited up. There’s an important project to launch this week — one that could change working life as you know it. This is one time you don’t want to be caught slouching in the locker room, gazing back at the old days. It’s forward only from now on. Grab every interesting opportunity. CAPRICORN (Dec 22 – Jan 19) How about a dinner party? Just call and invite a few friends to dinner. The point? You’ve lost touch with your roots; with that sense of who you are and where you belong. As such, you’ve lost touch with where you’re going. Back to square one — to the place where you call the shots; where you can redefine your terms in peace. This is the week to rediscover your true self — and to like what you find. AQUARIUS (Jan 20 – Feb 18) You’re not enjoying yourself nearly enough — and that part of your psyche that thrives on pleasure is getting all shrivelled and cramped. Please note, no one is impressed by your misery. So here’s what you do: arrange something self-indulgent every day this week, accept gifts, postpone all difficult projects, plan a party and fall in love. Now, that shouldn’t be too difficult, should it?. PISCES (Feb 19 – Mar 20) Why is everyone dumping their traumas on your doorstep? Don’t fret. It’s really a compliment. Look at each situation separately, decide whether you can do anything — and then move on. You are not obliged to fix the planet. But then again, it is wonderful to help. The trick is to find a balance between martyrdom and compassion. Use your own happiness as the yardstick — as in, only do what brings you joy. ARIES (Mar 21 – Apr 19) Team work is all very well, but when every member of the team wants to be Winston Churchill, problems are most certainly on their way. And none of that frantic headshaking from you, either. That wallflower act is fooling no one, especially when it’s so clear you’re dying to take charge. Try dividing the decisions. If all else fails, work alone, it’s less strain. One more thing: don’t be afraid to ask for help. TAURUS (Apr 20 – May 20) How does it feel having the family gaze at you with respect? A little unexpected if nothing else. Even so, don’t let that stop you from challenging the so-called traditions that have been in place for far too long. In fact, now’s your chance to make changes — while the family is on your side. When you need a break, there’s some travel on the cards too. Grab every offer. But make arrangements with care.
