Win ‘Top Gear’ tickets

-

TOP Gear and the Sunday Times Extra are offering five readers double tickets to the motor show, which will be hosted by inimitable presenters Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May.

Tame racing driver “The Stig” will also be in attendance at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on June 21 and 22.

The producers have set the three hosts the challenge of creating their own interpretation of electric racing cars.

The trio will also compete in a drifting challenge and the Top Gear stunt driving team has promised one of its most intricate stunts yet.

Controversial Afrikaans rapper Jack Parow has written a piece especially for the car show, which he will perform in the stadium.

Another SA petrolhead, radio DJ Sureshnie Rider, will be among the celebrity guests who will do a circuit of the track on Saturday.

Also on the programme is the Motoring Theatre, which incorporates the drama of film and theatre with the thrills and spills of stunts and special effects.

The Stig will do power laps, visitors will be able to watch head-to-head racing, supercars in action and drag racing.

To slow things down a bit, there will also be exhibition areas packed with supercars, classic motors and motoring memorabilia.

To win a set of double tickets for the 6.30pm show on Sunday June 22, answer this question: Which radio DJ will participate in the celebrity run on Saturday?
