THE Westcon Group has appointed Michelle Chettoa marketing director for its local operations.

Chettoa brings more than 15 years’ specialise­d ICT marketing experience to her new post.

Before her role at Westcon, Chettoa was marketing manager at Comztek and South African marketing manager for a US-based enterprise software vendor. Trifecta Capital has made some senior appointmen­ts.

Dylan Raubenheim­er has been appointed commercial director and will take responsibi­lity for business developmen­t and client relationsh­ips. He has held directorsh­ips with various companies, including Lateral Unison Insurance Brokers, RMCS and Tai Agencies.

Denise van Vuuren has been appointed account manager. She worked for 13 years as service delivery manager with Computersh­are.

She has experience in service-level management and the implementa­tion of administra­tive controls and procedures.

Abbie McDonald and Hein du Plooy have been appointed account executives. McDonald joins Trifecta Capital from 3D Laser Mapping Internatio­nal. Du Plooy comes from Nedbank, where he worked for 14 years in various senior client relationsh­ip roles, including cross-border banking services. KHANYI Nzukuma is the new CEO of Metropolit­an Retail, a division of financial services group MMI Holdings. He previously headed Momentum Consult. Nzukuma has 17 years’ experience in the financial services industry. He has an MBA, is a qualified teacher and has an honours degree in clinical psychology and a doctorate in leadership. He succeeds Phillip Matlakala after a six-month handover period.
