lot, but with the quality we’ve got, we will be able to limit them.”

Instead, the Italian defender feels that Barca should equally be concerned with how they are going to stop Juve, whose march to the final may not have been widely expected, but is still fully deserved, according to the Pisa-born defender.

Chiellini is looking forward to the occasion, something he would dream about when he was growing up.

“This Juve side are really tough to beat, for anybody,” said the 30-yearold. “The Champions League puts you up against the best players in the world and the atmosphere’s unique. You feel emotions that you don’t get from other games.

“Ever since I was a child, I would hear that famous music and the first time you are there in person, it gives you such a rush of adrenaline. It’s become a battle cry for us.”

The central defender has suggested the Catalans’ forward line is unrivalled in world football — a view also held by Juventus forward Carlos Tevez, who branded Barcelona “better than perfect” and thinks they have the best strike force in football.

The trio have scored over 100 goals among them in all competitions this season and Tevez acknowledged the devastating threat they will pose to Massimiliano Allegri’s backline.

Meanwhile, Chelsea forward and Premier League footballer of the year Eden Hazard said he will be rooting for Juve legends of the game in Saturday’s final.

Juventus skipper Gianluigi Buffon has what might prove, at the age of 37, to be his last chance of getting his hands on the Champions League title, while Andrea Pirlo could touch the prize for the third time after winning it twice with AC Milan.

“For champions like them it would really be the cherry on top,” Hazard told La Gazzetta dello Sport. “They have had extraordinary careers, above all winning the World Cup with Italy in 2006.

“I don’t know when they will retire, but it would be fantastic if two players like Buffon and Pirlo could succeed in triumphing together in the Champions League. They’re the champions of everybody who loves football.”

Barca may be favourites, but over 90 or 120 minutes, Hazard feels the Bianconeri have a chance to crown their season and complete a treble.

“Juve have already won the double with the Scudetto and the Coppa Italia, and these successes have given Allegri’s team more self-belief,” he said. “In a final, it comes down to details and the Italians have always been capable of springing surprises.”

According to midfielder Stefano Sturaro, who made his Champions League debut in the semifinal against Real Madrid, there is no inferiority complex in the Juve camp.

“If we’ve got all the way to Berlin, then that must mean we’re on the same level as them [Barca],” he told Sky Sport Italia. “We’ve grown a lot. They have the best players in the world, but that doesn’t make us think we’re outsiders.”

While conceding his side will be the underdogs, Buffon said anything can happen in a one-off game, but warned his teammates that they face an uphill task to shackle Barcelona’s deadly attacking trio.

“Barcelona are a team that are almost unbeatable,” he told Sky Sport Italia after lifting the Serie A trophy for the fourth season running.

“We know Barcelona are stronger, but in a one-off game the best side doesn’t always win. You have to be
