Friends in strange places

UNITED Democratic Movement MP Nqabayomzi Kwankwa was on the podium in parliament when his phone started interfering with the mic system. It just would not stop ringing.

Exasperated, he took the gadget out of his pocket, looked at it and muttered “Oh Jesus” under his breath before putting it on the floor.

But the annoyance continued, so he gave it a bit of a kick, too, for good measure.

Let’s hope it was just one of those pesky call centre agents getting what they deserve.
