Feel the love tonight — with a Disney dating site T

-

ECH-savvy singles have long been enjoying the perks of match-making apps and websites, where a click here or a swipe there is a very possible shortcut to canoodling with someone in a quiet restaurant corner.

For others, though, their prince/princess remains a little more “some day”.

So if Tinder doesn’t light your fire and Grindr ain’t that groovy, perhaps MouseMingle.com will be The One.

The “dating site for Disney fans” vows to match those raised on a diet of fairy castles and fireworks — and magical visits to the Disney theme parks — with like-minded souls.

Just like a visit to one of the parks, though, the magic isn’t free. Members pay $12.55 a month, but for kicks you can fill in your information to search others’ profiles and see what you might be in for.

Be warned: the questionnaire is as exhaustive as the fairy godmother’s Bibbidibobbidi-boo recipe. Boxes must be clicked on everything from your eye colour to your shape to whether you have any tattoos and/or children — and whether they live with you.

The Disney stuff, of course, is the fun part. Tick your favourite characters, as many as you want. Jasmine? Darth Vader? Jessica Rabbit? Woody? Then do your favourite songs and favourite movies.

When you get to the Marvel vs Pixar breakdown, and which park is your closest and whether you have an annual pass, it all starts to feel suspiciously like you’ve been duped by Disney’s marketing wizards (the site has no affiliation to actual Disney). Still, Disney fans are nothing if not optimistic. So whistle while you work, singles — long forms are just part of the circle of life.
