Poo-leasing smell of affairs

-

ONE would think that when the president of the country meets with the CEO of a state-owned entity in as much poo as Eskom has been, the discussions would focus on how to turn things around at the state-owned entity. But, it turns out, they really just discuss poo. Eskom CEO Brian Molefe this week in parliament listed all the “nice” people he has ever met in an attempt to explain his relationship with the Gupta family, who were also nice. Among them is No 1, whom he described as “a nice old man”.

Apparently when they get together to chat, they mostly talk about rural things.

And Molefe recounted a bizarre tale of a discussion he had with the Nkandla Crooner about building using cow dung.

It seems No 1 has been spending some time musing about the fact that in rural areas you can “beautify a home using cow dung, but you can’t use human dung”.

Perhaps that’s why Zuma’s Nkandla architect charged so much?
