Grub new frontier of struggle

THE ANC celebrated the 33rd anniversary of the founding of the United Democratic Front.

About 200 people gathered in District Six last Saturday for a rather low-octane afternoon of reminiscing about days long past and some grumbling about the state of the ANC today.

The greatest excitement of the day was when the lunch platters arrived, causing a rather scary food frenzy.

“What a dismal affair. Hopefully this is not our only new terrain of struggle,” mused one disgusted stalwart.
