Space Voyages and NASA’s Unexplained Files
Discovery Family, Channel 136, 20:10 and 21:00
Tonight we’ve got a spacefaring two-fer. Space
Voyages details the various challenges and missions leading up to the first moon landing in 1969. The second show seems quite interesting too. It focuses on images of Mercury showing the Apollodorus crater with its spider-leg-like troughs radiating from it, which is some kind of geological phenomenon researchers have yet to explain — although the spiel uses the terms “top secret”, which it’s not, and “ominous”, which it isn’t either.
