WEBHELP has appointed Christine Scheffler the group’s first chief human resources officer. The global business-process outsourcing and customer-experience company has a presence in South Africa.
Scheffler was previously the chief human resources officer at international digital service provider Arvato.
Olivier Duha, who co-founded Webhelp in 2000, said: “Webhelp is growing on an international stage and at a very rapid pace. That is why we felt it was important to create a position that would look at organisational and people development opportunities across the group rather than on a country-specific basis.”
Scheffler said: “To take on and develop a new role is an incredible opportunity.”
