Congratulations, random IMDB reviewer for pointing out that this movie was a racy rip-off of the ancient British TV serial A for Andromeda. You’ve certainly taught me something, and I’ve passed that factoid on. I’ll always remember Species as one of the few boobie movies my friends and I managed to buy tickets for in our mid-teen years. Otherwise, it’s ridiculous, mild-horror sci-fi fit for a Friday night with booze, about a woman (Natasha Henstridge), who is created from an alien DNA sequence gleaned from a mysterious radio signal.
