Pot calling the kettle racist
IN her article “White men — the black woman’s burden” (March 26), Panashe Chigumadzi went and did the very thing she set out to complain about to white men.
Now she is just like the white men she complains about. And this she did to all white men. She managed to combine racial and gender discrimination in one article.
And in the process she underlined that the race designations of apartheid are still celebrated today. By people like her. In articles like this. — Ferdi Greyling, Johannesburg
Loving your enemy
CHIGUMADZI’S article was a brilliant portrayal of the burden of being black in a sick white South African society.
To love your enemy is to leave you vulnerable — but that is what God expects, so we will soldier on for His name’s sake. — HJ Eksteen, Cape Town
Inciting readers to hatred
THIS report will only incite your readers to hate others. Shame on you! We must endeavour to bring the races together and not incite racial hatred, as you have done. — Howard Joffe, Camps Bay
