Looting of pension fund will spark riots

I READ with dismay and anger that there is a plan to use the Government Employees Pension Fund to bail out SAA.

I and many sane South Africans who contribute to it object to this proposed looting of the fund, there for one specific purpose — the wellbeing of pensioners today and in the future. This objection applies to all state-owned enterprises.

Should this lunacy carry on, it will invite rioting of catastrophic proportions and downgrade South Africa to junk, which we can ill afford. — Freddy, by e-mail
