But one ANC leader’s gripe with the-soon-to-be-former No 1 — also, hopefully, soon to be known as Accused No 1 in a series of corruption cases — is that the Nkandla Crooner has turned Luthuli House into a zoo.

“In the ANC we have a buffalo and an elephant in the room. We need to get rid of the elephant in the room,” the leader said.

They say when two elephants fight, the grass suffers. Well, we are about to learn what happens when a buffalo tries to chase an elephant out of Mahlamba Ndlopfu.
