Look­ing for a novel idea of treat­ing mom this Mother’s Day? Why not spoil her with a cook­ing class at the Pick n Pay Good Food Stu­dio in Sand­ton, and join her in mak­ing an al­fresco feast un­der the guid­ance of chef Aimee Ger­ber. The menu in­cludes these deca­dent mini pavlovas:

40g or­ange-flavoured choco­late, bro­ken into pieces

2 large egg whites

A pinch of salt

112g caster sugar

7.5ml (1 ½ tsp) corn­flour

2.5ml (½ tsp) white vine­gar
