Still the same Blah-blah Dlamini

Former social development minister Bathabile Dlamini — she who almost single-handedly collapsed the social grant system — also delivered her budget speech. True to form, the minister of women went off the rails, frothing at the mouth as is her wont. Instead of presenting innovative ways to tackle the socioeconomic challenges that women and people with disabilities face daily, Dlamini made a mess of everything with a midday ramble of note. Out of the blue, she attacked women journalists in particular and the media in general.

“Sadly, even women journalists are on the side of the media. Unfortunately, when you are on the side of the media, you are on the side of men because they control it.”
