Give a general a fish, and he’ll choke

The claim that South Africa is a forgiving nation is just a myth. Ask Bantu “Fish” Holomisa. The poor general of the bantustan forces has been a subject of ridicule since that eNCA blunder when the autocue failed him. This week he was honoured by Premier Soccer League chairman Irvin Khoza for his contribution to football. But everyone at the PSL awards, from event MCs to the people seated at his table, were only interested in reminding the man about his “fish” moment. The general must just milk the fish moment hook, line and sinker to revive his drowning political fortunes.
