Keep on trucking with Park Village

● Park Village Auctions will host its next commercial vehicle auction on June 28.

That’s the word from PVA’s LeRoy Augustyn who says, as ever, the auction will make quality, low-mileage used vehicles available, a point that may interest fleet operators in the wake of rising fuel costs.

“In times like these buyers are looking for assurance of quality and value more than ever,” notes Augustyn. “One of the main reasons that our [truck and trailer] auctions consistently draw the crowds, is the fact that PVA sells genuine, bank-repossessed commercial vehicles.”

Commencing at 10.30am, at the company’s truck yard in Nasrec (Joburg South), the auction will feature a large collection of trucks, trailers, agricultural and earth-moving equipment.

Bidders can expect to find rigid trucks and truck tractors from manufacturers such as Freightliner, Hino, International, Isuzu, Iveco, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi Fuso, Nissan, Renault, Scania, Tata, Toyota Dyna, Volvo as well as various MAN TGA and TGS.

Under the banner of trailers and earthmoving equipment, assets include flat deck link trailers, SA Truck Bodies, Henred Fruehauf, Afrit and Motor Trail flat deck link trailers, skeletal, curtain side trailers and side tipper trailers, Tautliner trailers, skidsteer loaders, excavators and backhoe loaders.

Interested parties can inspect the vehicles onsite at the public viewing on Wednesday June 27 from: 10am to 4pm.
