THE LOOK

The eyes have it this season as the look on runways, from Dries van Noten to Kenzo, has been all about bold, statement eyes and minimally made-up skin. The launch of Dior’s range of liquid eyeliners and mascara in vivid, neon shades makes experimenting with this look easy. Wear one shade placed closely along the waterline or create a kaleidoscopic display with colour on the top lash line, outer corners and even run through the lashes – there’s really no limits so put on a show.

THE SKINCARE

The last time we saw a Solal product, it was probably forming part of our daily nutritional supplement intake. Taking the philosophy of holistic beauty to the next level, Solal returns with an anti-ageing skincare range, neatly packaged in an updated design — you’ll want to have displayed daily on your vanity. With rejuvenating formulas that aim to protect with time-release cross-polymer hyaluronic acid and high SPF; they are also multi-purpose, from a cleanser that doubles up as a makeup remover to an exfoliator that can also be used as a mask.

THE CAMPAIGN

Our favourite “summer in a bottle” collection, Chanel Les Beiges, is back. While we are happy to see old favourites like the Les Beiges Sheer Healthy Glow Tinted Moisturiser and the Les Beiges Healthy Glow Luminous Multicolour Powders, we are more excited for the darker shade extensions and model diversity in their latest campaign. Featuring supermodels Imaan Hammam, Liu Wen and Anna Ewers, the campaign shows that there isn’t just one shade of nude and each skin tone should be able to sport their own version of natural, luminous makeup. We couldn’t agree more.
