Global law firm Herbert Smith Freehills has appointed Olivier Binyingo a director in Johannesburg.

Portia Derby has been appointed executive director: clients Africa at global engineering and infrastructure advisory company Aurecon.
This follows her appointment as senior regional director for Gauteng in 2017.
She will be responsible for the leadership and performance of key Aurecon projects across Africa.
Managed Integrity Evaluation, a background screening and vetting company in Southern Africa, has appointed Michelle Baron-Williamson CEO.
She takes over from founding member Ina van der Merwe. Van der Merwe will move into the role of sales executive officer.
Baron-Williamson joined the executive team of MIE in
June 2017. She brings years of industry expertise and experience in management roles — across IT and business industries — to her new role.
Van der Merwe is redirecting her focus within MIE towards the sales side of the business.
Her knowledge and experience in the industry will be used to drive sales.
