Ford has appointed Conrad Groenewald director of marketing, sales and service for South Africa and subSaharan Africa. He takes over from Neale Hill, who was made MD. He has a BTech in mechanical engineerin­g from Pretoria Technikon (now Tshwane University of Technology) and an MBA from the University of Pretoria.

Westcon-Comstor subSaharan Africa has appointed Saartjie Wait marketing and digital experience director for the region.

She started at Siemens Telecommun­ications in 1996, and has held various roles — strategic account manager, channel manager at Avaya and a senior management position at Grintek Telecom.

Carrick Wealth has promoted Mike Potts and Greg Stockton to the position of joint MDs.

They were both directors for wealth management and advisory before promotion.

Potts has qualificat­ions from the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and certificat­ion in regulatory examinatio­ns with the Financial Services Board (now

the Financial Sector Conduct Authority).

Stockton has received numerous leadership awards, including being named one of the top senior managers in the industry.
