● Park Village Auctions is poised to host another of its ever-popular warehouse auctions in mid-August.

PVA’s Elaine Hague describes the upcoming auction as voluminous, with assets from several insolvent estates and liquidations — including engineering, manufacturing and office equipment — up for grabs.

First to go under the hammer will be the contents of a kitchen manufacturing concern.

A Fravol RX10 edge bander, a Selco EB70L beam saw, a Biesse Rover B2.30 CNC router, and a Vitrap drilling machine will be auctioned.

Assets stemming from a fire protection equipment concern will follow.

Items to be sold include a RIDGID 1233 threading machine, a hydraulic band saw, a hydraulic punch, a milling machine, assorted welders, welding screens, pipe cutters, drilling machines, cutting torches, grinders, compressors, and a range of stock such as bolts, nuts, and fittings.

Executive office furniture on offer comprises desks, workstations, stationary cupboards, filing cabinets, bookshelves, executive boardroom suites, executive chairs, conference tables, glass display cabinets, display stands, clothing rails, mannequins, industrial steamers and assorted shelving.

Under the banner of computer and electronic equipment will be towers, monitors, laptops, UPS devices, printers, a Polycom HDX 7000 video conferencing system, an overhead projector, cash registers, scanners and various other such goods.

That’s not all — couches, armchairs, tub chairs, fridges, televisions, microwaves, and much more household furniture and appliances will also be on the block.

Says Hague: “This is one auction not be missed.

“If you’re on the hunt for a bargain, you’ll be spoilt for choice with such a large variety of quality manufacturing, office and home goods under one roof.”

Viewing is available on Wednesday August 15 from 9am to 4pm.

The auction will start at 10.30am on Thursday August 16 at PVA’s warehouse at 8 Prolecon Road in Prolecon, Johannesburg.
