Repossessed trucks offer good value

-

● In what seems like record time, Park Village Auctions has secured a large collection of rigid trucks, truck tractors, trailers, earthmoving equipment, LDVs and other miscellaneous items.

That’s the word from PVA’s LeRoy Augustyn who says the auction represents an excellent opportunity for buyers to acquire quality, genuine repossessed medium to heavy commercial vehicles sourced from a number of banks.

The auction starts at 10.30am on Thursday August 30 with a variety of rigid trucks and truck tractors on offer.

Bidders will find assets from manufacturers such as Freightliner, Hino, International, Isuzu, Iveco, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi Fuso, Nissan, Scania, Tata, Toyota Dyna and Volvo as well as various MAN TGA and TGS models.

Under the banner of trailers and earth moving equipment, flat deck link trailers, SA Truck Bodies, Henred Fruehauf, Afrit and Motor Trail flat deck, side tippers, Tautliner trailers, skidsteer loaders, excavators and backhoe loaders will be made available.

Says Augustyn: “We expect to see yet another good showing at the upcoming auction. Buyers are exercising prudence when it comes to upgrading their fleets on the back of rising fuel costs.

“Genuine bank-repossessed vehicles are often good quality with relatively low mileage, which makes them an affordable choice for those in the logistics and distribution sector specifically.”

As ever, the auction takes place at the company’s truck yard at Nasrec, Johannesburg, with on-site viewing the day before between 10am and 4pm. A detailed inventory can be seen on

PVA’s website using the web reference 113.
