Weeding out unnecessary laws

Deputy chief justice Raymond Zondo holds some very high positions. He is held in high regard for the manner in which he has chaired the commission of inquiry into state capture thus far. Despite that daunting task, he finds time to attend to his duties in the highest court in the land. On Tuesday he delivered a highly anticipated judgment that effectively legalised the possession of small quantities of marijuana for personal use in private spaces. Those who enjoy the holy herb are on cloud nine thanks to the unanimous judgment delivered by Zondo. Give that man a high five!
