Cel­e­brate SA’s unique wine va­ri­etal, pinotage, on a day in its hon­our, Pinotage Day, on Oc­to­ber 13 when the restau­rant at Grande Provence in Fran­schhoek is pre­par­ing a spe­cial menu ded­i­cated to the wine. Think choco­late-braised ox­tail served with heir­loom beet­root, fon­dant potato and crispy po­lenta and ar­ti­sanal cheese boards with grape chut­ney, pinotage-poached figs and grape chut­ney. Each course will be served with a glass of An­gels Tears Le Cho­co­lat pinotage.
