Celebrate SA’s unique wine varietal, pinotage, on a day in its honour, Pinotage Day, on October 13 when the restaurant at Grande Provence in Franschhoe­k is preparing a special menu dedicated to the wine. Think chocolate-braised oxtail served with heirloom beetroot, fondant potato and crispy polenta and artisanal cheese boards with grape chutney, pinotage-poached figs and grape chutney. Each course will be served with a glass of Angels Tears Le Chocolat pinotage.
