It’s getting better, say the police

Westbury and several other suburbs fall under the Sophiatown police station. The latest police crime statistics show that the majority of serious and violent crimes in the Westbury area, which is located within the Sophiatown policing precinct, is on the decline, with the police station reporting the biggest drop in such crimes among Johannesburg Central’s eight police stations.
