CAN’T TAKE ’EM WOOF YOU — BUT CUDDLING IS COOL
Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, the global hotel group, has canine staffers at some of its properties around the world. The resident dogs — known as Canine Ambassadors — are there to offer company and solace to travellers who may be missing their own pets. Guests may take the dogs for walks or just hang out with them.
The dogs are listed on the group’s website, and include a yellow labrador named Beau and Ella, his colleague at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, who “love the busy lobby, the interaction with guests … and posing for selfies”.
Meanwhile, at the Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club you will find sisters Tusker and Grammy, of labrador and ridgeback descent, who can often be found “jumping into ponds and chasing birds“.
