STRANGE BUT TRUE

The No Fly List of people prohibited from boarding commercial aircraft within, into, or out of the US was only created after the 9/11 attacks of 2001. Before that, the government had a list of 16 people deemed “no transport” for presenting a “threat to aviation”. The authorities won’t reveal how many names are on the list today, but estimates put it at tens of thousands.
