Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) has appointed Jacques Vermeulen, MD of its international division, group CEO.
Vermeulen has served as MD of CCBA’s international division, which covers all of CCBA’s Africa operations outside SA, since July 2016. He first joined the Coca-Cola system in 1995.
Mike Glendinning has been appointed sales and marketing director for Volkswagen Group SA (VWSA). He takes over from Stefan Mecha, who has been appointed vice-president for sales and marketing at Volkswagen do Brasil.
Glendinning, who has an honours degree in marketing from Unisa, joined VWSA in 1985.
Cape Town Tourism has appointed Julie-May Ellingson and Wahida Parker chair and vice-chair, respectively.
Ellingson is the CEO of the Cape Town International Convention Centre and is an urban and regional planner and development economist.
“I look forward to working with the management team in building on the success of
Cape Town Tourism,“Ellingson said.
Parker is an attorney and internationally accredited mediator and coach. She is the MD of the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway.
“I relish the challenge that this brings and look forward to enhancing the offering to the membership and Cape Town in general,“she said.
