Octodec Investment­s has appointed Nyimpini Mabunda as an independen­t nonexecuti­ve director.

Mabunda started his career at Procter & Gamble as a graduate management trainee and later held the position of key accounts and channel manager. He built his career at Diageo, where he held various positions. Agency Havas has appointed Sameeha Muthen human resources (HR) and transforma­tion director.

Muthen has been in advertisin­g for more than 19 years, 14 of which were in HR and recruitmen­t.

CEO Lynn Madeley said: “Sameeha will guide Havas through continuous impactful and sincere change. Her track record speaks for itself and we are excited to have her on board.” Medical scheme Profmed has appointed Craig Comrie principal officer and CEO. He succeeds Graham Anderson, who has been at the helm of the organisati­on since 2003.

Comrie has more than 18 years’ experience in the medical scheme industry.

Anderson said: “Craig’s indepth industry knowledge and experience will ensure that the medical scheme will be able to continue to respond to the needs of its members.” The Automotive Industry Developmen­t Centre (AIDC) in Gauteng has appointed Lance Schultz CEO.

He joins the AIDC after almost four years as CEO of the Centurion Aerospace Village.

Schultz’s academic credential­s include a BTech and an MBA from Nelson Mandela University and a BSc with honours in industrial engineerin­g from the University of Pretoria.
