STRANGE BUT TRUE

-

During the harsh winter of 1450, a pack of starving wolves that inhabited a forest on the outskirts of Paris made the French capital their hunting ground. They managed to kill 40 Parisians before a group of citizens lured the wolves onto the isolated Ile de La Cité, an island in the Seine, and stoned and speared the entire pack to death in the public square in front of Notre Dame.
